Freedom is a newly established project, run by Andy & Fiona Sparrow.   The idea of Freedom resulted from the experience of their family when Andy’s mum was seriously ill and it was clear that some additional support was needed to enable his parents to continue living in their home. 

Andy’s background is in retail management (particularly customer service), which he worked in for over 20 years, including 8 years running his own business.  In recent years, however, he has had a complete career change and has been employed as a full time church leader, caring for people in a wide variety of circumstances.

Fiona spent 12 years working as a personal assistant before becoming  administrator at the Beacon Church in Maidstone.  This led to being involved in and overseeing a wide range of the church’s community projects. 

Andy and Fiona have been married since 1985 and they have one young son.  Both are committed Christians and have been involved with leading a local church for the past 5 years.

Our Staff

As you would expect, all our staff are hand picked to carry our values. Two references are taken along with a checked through the Criminal Records Bureau and we undertake regular monitoring to ensure the highest standards of service are maintained.  We are committed to providing our staff with all the training they may need to do an excellent job for you.  Wherever possible it will be the same person or persons that you see each time, so you can get to know them and they can get to know you.
